How amazing God is. He is! I am sorry for not sending things of late. I had a lot of trainings, and a brand-new career brought to me still working with Children, however in a more fun environment. It is a Christian Childcare and Preschool learning center. The entire staff is absolutely amazing with such great hearts.
As some of you know, I have been out of work for the last several months due to an injury. We moved to King County. Then things occurred that were out of our hands. My husband and I had to be separated for a little bit. Still great marriage, just some choices we were making were not healthy. I have been applying for good career opportunities for about a month. Lots of interviews, just nothing in the area we wanted. This next part is the best. All God!
I applied for an administrative position in Covington with a Christian facility. I wasn't really wanting to go back to teaching full time, yet I missed being around the littles. I mean really little. Infants to Pre-K. I knew that I wasn't finding the right job, because working in the field that is not Christian is so hard these days. I put the application in on a Tuesday, not thinking anything of it. Wednesday ~ the director contacted me right away. They had been praying for me, she said. Lots of candidates but not someone that felt like the right fit. I came in for a walk around and informal interview. They let me know that they would get back to me about the position in the next week. Usual boss to applicant conversation. Thursday morning, 8 am, I receive the phone call. She says, we would like to officially give you the job. Knowing full well that I would have to take (a million classes for DCYF), backgrounds, fingerprints. Pretty much I said, I was giving DCYF my kidney ha. Fast forward to December, here lI am in a beautiful, wonderful, amazing job with staff that I can only explain as "angels from heaven". Everyone knows what to do, how to do it, when to do it, and we are all just all working together in all aspects.
The job is in the area we wanted, and the home will be close to my work.
~ Love and blessings to all.
